AFR Mongoose LS 205cc Cathedral Port CNC Cylinder Heads
AFR’s, MONGOOSE, LS1 Cathedral Port cylinder heads are 100% 5-AXIS CNC ported and made with A356 aluminum. All heads come with high quality components, such as titanium retainers and Pac Racing Springs. Available in runner volumes from 210cc, 215cc, 230cc and 245cc. Component upgrades and different machining options are available to customize your AFR heads for your specific build. Minimum bore sizing is 3.900” to accommodate intake valve clearance.
This product is street legal in 50 states for 2005 and older emission controlled vehicles under (CARB #D-250-4) AFR’s 205cc LSX heads are the cost effective performance choice over re-worked factory heads. They feature 100% CNC ported intake, exhaust & chambers, A356 aluminum castings, Titanium retainers and high quality components throughout. Recommended for street, towing, or street/strip engines with displacements up to 383 cubic inches, operating up to 6300 RPM. Requires minimum 3.900” bore size for intake valve clearance. Component upgrade and machining options are available to customize AFR Heads to your specific build.
